Tim Parkinson graduated from Bristol University and worked in cattle practice in the UK. He undertook a PhD in reproductive physiology at Nottingham University, before lecturing in veterinary reproduction and obstetrics at Bristol University. In 1997, he relocated to Massey University where he was Dean of Veterinary Sciences from 2011-2016.
He was Professor of Farm Animal Reproduction and Health at Massey University in New Zealand until 2017. He is a Diplomate of the European College of Animal Reproduction and Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
He is a co-author of Veterinary Reproduction and Obstetrics (now in its 10th edition) and Diseases of Cattle in Australasia.
Tim has vast practical, academic and research experience with cattle in the UK and New Zealand.
