‘Equine & Dine’ is on again! EVA has booked the Zinc Room at the ‘Charming Squire’ craft beer pub, right next door to the Convention Centre. This social event is great fun and is EVA’s Annual Conference social get together. If you’re a vet who does any work with horses, then please join us for a relaxing evening of collegiality and catching up with old friends and new. All drinks and substantial finger food is included in the price.

Please note that this is not a sit-down dinner, so as maximise catching up with as many people as possible.  With special discount prices for EVA Young Members.

The Head of the Melbourne Veterinary School at the University of Melbourne warmly invites alumni attending the 2018 AVA Conference to come along to an informal reception.

The ‘Food For Thought’ dinner will follow the VERA Annual General Meeting to be held at the AVA Conference following the Education Day program. AVA will supply the VERA AGM with drinks and nibbles in our meeting room. We will then walk together to the restaurant, Ahmet’s Turkish Restaurant.

Funds raised will be donated to the AVA Benevolent Fund.  The benevolent fund helps veterinarians and their families who find themselves in difficult circumstances. The emphasis is on practical support to those who may be affected by illness, accident, or otherwise having a tough time.
