Keynote speaker Dr Safia Barakzai (UK), a renowned equine surgeon, is speaking across equine, industry and dental streams with a focus on airway and dental disease. Sessions include basic equine upper respiratory endoscopy and sinoscopy, indications for exercising endoscopy, dental and sinus radiography, pathophysiology and treatment of dental fractures and pulpits, prognosis for return to performance after upper airway surgery, recurrent laryngeal neuropathy in the horse, equine sinus anatomy and pathophysiology of common disorders and treatment of equine sinusitis.
Local speakers include Jennifer Bauquier, Brett Tennent-Brown, Simon Robinson, Sarah Gray, Meredith Flash, James Gilkerson, Laura Hardefeldt and Colin Wilks.
The EVA’s always popular pre-purchase examination workshop is back this year, presented by Nathan Anthony and Nick Kannegieter. You will learn tips and techniques for examination, and how to address common pitfalls and oversights. Earn 11 VetEd points.
