Whether you treat the occasional bovine, or your caseload is 100 per cent cattle, the cattle stream has the world-class CPD you need.
Keynote speaker Tim Parkinson, Professor of Farm Animal Health and Reproduction at Massey University, will share his wisdom about the bovine clinical exam, diarrhoea, disorders of the reproductive system, metabolic disorders, neurological disease, practical therapeutics and surgical gastrointestinal disease.
Local speakers include Liz Bramley, Andres Ardila, Brandan Fraser, Liz Pryor, Viv Perry, Phillip Carter and Dave Beggs.
Earn 10 additional VetEd points while you learn about lameness management, bull breeding soundness evaluation, obstetrics and basic surgery techniques (including eye ablations, teat surgery, claw amputation and uterine suturing) at the University of Queensland’s Gatton Campus on Friday 18 May. “Bovine Basics from Gatton Gurus” is heavily discounted for SIG members, but worth its weight in gold.
This year the Australian Cattle Veterinarians will join the Sheep, Camelid and Goats Veterinarians SIG for a night of socialising. Meet bovine, ovine, camelid and caprine interested colleagues for a casual three-course dinner (drinks included) on Wednesday 16 May at the Charming Squire.
